This was in June 2025, laying carpet tiles. The old carpet is gone as well as the staples for the old foam padding. No foam padding goes under carpet tiles or the tiles wouldn't meet too good. Plus, if the floor was soft or wavy I wouldn't even do carpet tiles, they wouldn't meet together good. The subfloor was swept good.

The oak board divider I put in. The old one was for a carpet to attach to it and without it it had alot of little nail-lke points sticking up. This one is beveled and countersunk as well. I believe this one is 4" wide where the north bedroom's one is 3" wide.
